Our 3D-printed fidgets and small items are made for general use by people of many ages. Because designs and users differ, choose carefully, inspect the print often, and keep anything small or detachable away from anyone who may put it in their mouth.
Important: These products are not food or teethers. Small or broken pieces can create a choking or swallowing hazard.
The 30-second check
Three questions before use.
Look beyond the color or shape. The person’s habits, the item’s size, and the condition of the print all matter.
Is the design appropriate?
Consider the user’s age, abilities, mouthing or chewing habits, and access to younger children or pets.
Is the print fully intact?
Check for cracked layer lines, loose joints, sharp edges, separated pieces, or anything missing.
Will it be used safely?
Use the item only as intended and supervise anyone likely to chew, dismantle, or misuse it.
No visible warning does not mean “safe for everyone.” Read the individual product description and contact us before use if the size, parts, or intended use are unclear.
For people of many ages
Choose for the individual.
Our products are advertised for general use. A 3D-printed fidget or small item is not automatically appropriate for every adult, teen, or child.
ALL General-use guidance
Choose a size and design that matches the person using it. Consider moving joints, detachable accessories, thin sections, magnets, batteries, and pieces that could become loose after repeated handling.
! Extra caution is needed
Keep small or detachable parts away from children under 3 and anyone who mouths objects, chews items, has difficulty following safety directions, or has a condition that increases swallowing risk. When uncertain, choose a larger one-piece design and ask an appropriate health professional for guidance.
Inspect 3D prints often
Wear can create new hazards.
Repeated bending, pulling, dropping, chewing, heat, and normal wear can weaken layer lines, joints, hinges, and thin sections.
Stop at the first sign of damage.
Take the item out of use if any part looks different, feels loose, or is missing.
- Cracks, splits, gaps, or whitening along layer lines
- Loose joints, pins, caps, clips, rings, decorations, or hardware
- Sharp points, rough broken edges, or plastic strands
- Pieces that separate more easily than when the item was new
- Exposed or missing magnets, batteries, screws, or metal parts
- Warping, softening, melting, or other heat damage
- Do not keep using a damaged item after a quick repair with tape or household glue. Remove it from use and contact us if you need product help.
Clean gently
Follow the product description. Avoid high heat, dishwashers, harsh cleaners, and prolonged soaking unless the item is specifically identified as safe for that method.
If a piece is missing
Stop use, collect every piece you can find, check the surrounding area, and keep people and pets away until the missing part is located.
Simple safe-use habits
Keep the item where it belongs.
These steps reduce the chance of choking, swallowing, breakage, and lost pieces without turning the page into a rule book.
Use the item only for its described purpose.
Never place the item or its parts in the mouth, nose, or ears.
Do not force, over-bend, pull apart, or chew the print.
Supervise anyone likely to dismantle or mouth the item.
Keep loose parts away from young children and pets.
Store multi-piece items together and account for every part.

Most safety decisions are simple: keep small pieces out of mouths, keep special components enclosed, and stop using anything damaged.
Small or detachable parts
A whole item or a broken-off piece can become a choking or swallowing hazard. Keep small parts away from children under 3 and anyone likely to mouth objects.
Magnets and batteries
If an item contains magnets or button batteries, they must remain fully enclosed. A loose, missing, or possibly swallowed magnet or battery requires urgent action.
Heat and breakage
High heat can soften or warp some printed plastics. Cracked layers and sharp broken edges can cause pieces to detach or create a cut or puncture risk.
In an emergency
Know who to call.
If anyone cannot breathe, cough, speak, or cry; turns blue or gray; or becomes unresponsive, call 911 immediately and provide appropriate choking first aid if you are trained.
Call immediately for breathing trouble, color change, or unresponsiveness.
Call if a part may have been swallowed, even if the person seems well.
A possible button or coin battery ingestion is urgent. Do not wait for symptoms.
Treat a possibly swallowed magnet or button battery as urgent and seek immediate medical care. Do not induce vomiting unless a medical professional directs you to do so. Outside the United States, contact your local emergency service or poison center.
